One of the most anticipated weeks for art lovers around the world is here! Art Basel Miami Beach will take place in the beautiful Art Deco District December 2nd -5th.

Art Basel Miami Beach is the sister event of Switzerland’s Art Basel, which began 41 years ago. It has taken place in Miami Beach since 2002 creating the cultural and social highlight of the year in the United States. Thousands of people come to Miami each year during this time to experience the most important art show in the Americas and to soak up the energy and inspiration of South Florida.

The main exhibition site at the Miami Beach Convention Center is within walking distance to the beach and includes more than 250 leading art galleries from North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Established artists as well as emerging and mid-career artists will be showcased in the event.

In addition to the exhibitions at the convention center there will be many satellite events featuring film, design, art, and music. This year’s Art Loves Music concert brings you Canada’s New Wave band Metric. The concert takes place on the beach, close to the Oceanfront area, at 10pm on Wednesday, December 1, and access is free.
