1. Pacha Ibiza — Ibiza, Spain
Pacha Ibiza is number one on the list of world’s top nightclubs. Located in the party capital of the world, Pacha Ibiza is best known for its House Music and the atmosphere within the club that, “embodies five different rooms incorporating other musical styles.” The Main Room hosts the best international DJs and features performances beyond your wildest dreams. The Funky Room is more “disco soulful” with smoother tunes and a laid back atmosphere. If you decide to take your party upstairs, the Roof Terrace is perfect for lounge music, cocktails, inviting couches, and a blanket of Spanish sky and stars above. 2. Fabric — London, England
Coming in at a close second on our list of world’s top nightclubs, Fabric is known for showcasing underground DJs,world-renowed electronic music legends, and professional live acts. From Friday to Monday it’s a constant party. FABRICLIVE is a Friday-night soundclash of everything from trashy electro rock to throttling dubstep. A typical Saturday night at Fabric consists of the wildest 30-hour nonstop disco session on Earth. The who’s-who of the club scene finish the weekend off with the WetYourSelf series on Sunday nights. 3. Space — Ibiza, Spain
In at number three on the list of world’s top nightclubs is Space, also located in Ibiza. Space first opened its doors in the family resort area of Playa d’en Bossa in 1989. Countless DJs, performers, and producers regard Space as the “Mecca of electronic music” mainly because it has been nominated countless times at the International Dance Music Awards for having the best sound system in the world. Much like Pacha, Space also has five different themed multi-genre rooms for their guests. If you enjoy special treatment, cozy VIP booths are available upon prior request. 4. Zouk — Singapore
Established in 1991 in Singapore’s historic warehouse district, the owners bought the dilapidated, roofless property with the vision of restoring the building to its original state and becoming the first place in Singapore to introduce house music. From the very beginning, Zouk has had a progressive and innovative clubbing environment, putting Singapore on the map as a club lovers paradise and landing on our list of world’s top nightclubs. There are four distinctly different clubs within the complex: Zouk, Velvet Underground, Phuture, and Wine Bar. Zouk is the heart of the property, with a capacity of over 1,500 guests decked out with a state of the art lighting system, multi-level dance floor, podiums, and body-bending music. Velvet Underground embodies the return of the smaller intimate clubs and is known for having dance-a-thons until the break of dawn. Established in 2006, only the best names in music come to perform at Brazil’s premier super club. Electronic music king, Armin van Buuren self proclaims that Green Valley is “the best club in the world.” With a consistent 8,000 strong crowd made up of flawlessly dressed Brazilians ready to party until the sun comes up, it’s no wonder DJs around the world beg to perform here. The colossal club is rigged with show stopping lights, out of this world LED visuals and ridiculous pyrotechnics that is quite the spectacle for your eyes an ears. Self proclaimed as “One of the seven wonders of the entertainment world,” The Guvernment is Toronto’s biggest nightclub. This super club opens its doors to music lovers and social hedonists alike with the ability to experience an unparalleled party playground. Comprised of 8 individual rooms and spanning over 22,000 feet, you can choose your poison in each or all of the uniquely designed areas. You will most definitely find what you’re looking for in CHROMA, Surface, D’Luxe, Acid Lounge, Gallery, the Main Room or Skybar overlooking Lake Ontario. Unlike anywhere else in Canada, The Guvernment specializes in showcasing several sounds generated by world class, state-of-the-art, digitally enhanced sound system all in one prime location, which is one of the many reasons it landed on our list of world’s top nightclubs.
7. Ministry of Sound — London
Ministry of Sound is one of the most historic night clubs in London. Started by DJ Justin Berkmann in 1991, Ministry of Sound set out to bring the burgeoning American house music arena to the UK. After 20 years, the club remains at the forefront of the global dance music scene. With a 24-hour dance license and a sprung floor intended to enable clubbers to dance for many hours without tiring, it’s a non-stop party Thursday-Saturday at MoS. Sound is what epitomizes the very fabric of this place and is what ultimately started the global MoS movement with locations in the U.S., Australia, Egypt, Asia, South America, and Europe. With their own record label, radio station, branded mobile channels, and branded products, Ministry of Sound is an irrevocable force to be reckoned with on the list of world’s top nightclubs.
8. LIV — Miami, Florida
Located in the alluring Fontainebleau Hotel, LIV has redefined nightlife in Miami Beach. Rumored to be the highest grossing nightclub in the world, this is where Miami’s most beautiful people come out to play. With 18,000 square feet of spectacular architectural design and posh decor, LIV sets the bar for the ultimate nightlife experience and comes in at number 8 on the list of world’s top nightcblus. Open Wednesday-Sunday, the who’s-who arrive en masse to party with state-of-the-art sound systems and lighting with crazy LED projections. The super exclusive NBA championship after party was held here, where the Miami Heat players reportedly spent an upwards of $200,000 celebrating their huge win.
9. Cielo — New York, New York
Located in the ultra chic Meat Packing District of New York City is our number nine on the world’s top nightclub list, Cielo. It is a haven for mature individuals who are seeking intelligent nightlife without the hassles of a large club or elitist attitudes. Cielo is all about the basics: a strong door, impeccable service, stunning decor, and world renowned sound system that will blow any audiophile’s socks off. Founded in 2003, Cielo is the brainchild of co-owner Nicolas Matar who is most notably known for his residency at our number one night club, Pacha. The club has featured more international DJs than any other club in North America since its inception, showcasing kingpins such as Luciano, David Guetta, and Sven Vath.
10. Womb — Tokyo, Japan
Rounding out our list of world’s top nightclubs is the amazing Womb nightclub in Tokyo. Forged in the Spring of 2000, Womb is Japan’s go-to place for the best beats and sound system any religious clubber could ask for. Womb consists of four floors and houses the largest mirror balls (1.5 meters in diameter) in Japan. Tucked away in a back alleyway, the club’s outside appearance is no indication of the activity inside but once you step in it is a whole other world.
