New York Fashion Week—also known as Mercedez Benz Fashion Week—is only days away and the city is abuzz with preparation. By Wednesday, the models will be cast and the sets will be dressed. The sous chefs will be prepped, chauffeurs will be coached and concierges will be primed and in anxious anticipation.
From all around the world, trendy jetsetters and fashion industry insiders will converge with celebrity guests and VIPs at the Lincoln Center in New York City.
Previously held at Bryant Park in New York City, the Lincoln Center – a posh locale for the industry’s elite, has been the new home and host site of the New York Fashion week since 2010. Honoring those who have had a large part in raising awareness and money for research regarding AIDS, the gala will feature cocktails, dinner, a luxury auction and is set to honor Kenneth Cole, Janet Jackson and Heidi Klum for their contributions.
